Special Olympics Illinois Super Plunge

For the second year in a row, I will be jumping into Lake Michigan in late February to raise money for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. Every hour on the hour for 24 hours, I will plunge into the icy water.  This will be even easier to do this year as I am plunging in memory of my mother, Jennie "Sue" Schniedwind who passed away in July of 2010. She and my father were instrumental in teaching me about the importance of volunteering and helping others. If doing one Super Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois is not crazy enough, I will also be Super Plunging for Special Olympics Maryland with my two brothers and sister in memory of our mom.

I hope I can count on the support of all the people who contributed to this event last year.  Please help me honor my mom and support the Special Olympics Illinois athletes.
