TEAM BRIAN IS BACK!  AFTER A ONE YEAR HIATUS THE 2011 HARC WALKATHON WILL RETURN ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH...PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND PLAN ON BEING THERE.

Join us at Rentschler Field, the home of the UCONN Huskies, for a family oriented 5K walk.  Kids of all ages from toddlers to grandparents will be there to walk or wheel their way around the course.  Bicycles, wheelchairs, wagons, baby strollers and pooches of all sizes are welcome!

Registration is at 9:00 am and the walk starts at 10:00 am.  Bob Maxon, everyone's favorite TV weatherman, guarantees perfect weather!  As always, out of towners can rely on overnight accomodations at 107 Apple Hill.

The Walkathon provides funding for many programs at HARC, but especially for Recreation and Respite services which are not supported by state or federal funds.  The fundraising goal for TEAM BRIAN '11 is $4,000.

Please make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation to the Walkathon and become a member of TEAM BRIAN '11.  Every dollar is important and your contribution will help make a difference in many people's lives!
