Today Lizzie has surgery and will not be able to participate in the cycle event, El Tour de Tucson this weekend, Saturday Nov. 19, 2011.

Her port-a-cath has another infection, she has to have it removed from her chest wall and then remain in Diamond Children's Medical Center for a few days to monitor the infection and recover.  

She would like folks to stop by her EXPO booth at TCC - Team Lizzie Bell booth, buy some of her coffee or sponsor a Lizzie Bell "helping hand" for $5.00 each.  Since she cannot be there she would like all of you to give her a "helping hand". 

Lizzie also has a cycle team that has been working for months to train to ride in El Tour.  Please support their firstgiving page under Team Lizzie Bell. These are an amazing group of high school kids, their teacher Anthony Avila has worked hard to teach them about blood and marrow donation for kids. 

While Lizzie recovers and then goes back into surgery to insert a new cath-line she will need your help collecting 200 gift cards for hospital kids.  Lizzie seeks to collect 200 gift cards per MONTH all year long!
