Three years ago we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy whom we named Evan Christopher.  Thanks to him we have known more joy than ever, and he continues to teach us more than we can teach him.  We are walking this year to raise awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome.  We look to a bright future for Evan, where people with disabilities will have opportunites for education, friends, families, jobs, travel............the same things anyone would want.  We think society's perception will keep getting better as we all learn to see the person, not the chromosomes.
