The Malia Family is hiking up Mt. Cranmore in the Jen's Friends Climb against Cancer  in North Conway, NH on 9-17-09.  We are hiking in honor and memory of Mike Linsenmeyer, our brother, brother-in-law, and uncle who lost his battle with cancer on Christmas Day 2007 at age 33.  

When Mike's illness forced him to stop working, he was fortunate to have health insurance and constant family financial and emotional support . His housing, transportation and utilities needs were met, and he was eternally grateful for this.   We hike in support of friends who do not have these needs met, and still must fight the cancer battle.  All the money raised for this foundation stays in the community, and helps people with non-medical expenses during their battle with cancer.
