It's that time again... On March 4th, our brave crew of participants will partake in the   Chicago Polar Plunge  . We will be making the (questionably) intelligent decision of jumping into Lake Michigan at near freezing temperatures... most of us with the assistance of "liquid courage." At least potentially getting hypothermia has a cause, which is supporting the Chicago Special Olympics! The Chicago Polar Plunge's donations provide 75% of the funding for the Chicago Special Olympics and it is imperative to its success.

The last two years we have topped all Chicago teams raising $15,000 (2010) & $33,000 (2011) with overwhelming support from family, friends, co-workers and events. Last year 67 jumpers bravely submerged themselves into Lake Michigan, breaking our own record for the largest team to ever participate in the plunge. Team Liquid Courage topped every team in Chicago the past two years and we plan on continuing the trend for this fabulous cause.
