Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I was diagnosed with Melanoma almost two years ago.  It was caught early, and since the surgery all has been well!  :-)  I feel so thankful for the care I have received, but know there is tons of research needed to fight this deadly disease!

By donating to our team, you are giving money to the Melanoma Reseatch Foundation, which is dedicated to research, education and advocacy on behalf of the Melanoma community.

•Melanoma is the fastest-growing cancer in the world, especially in people under 35 and among young women.

•Every year, approximately 70,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with melanoma, and almost 9,000 patients succumb to the disease.
 

•In the United States, someone is diagnosed with melanoma every eight minutes; every hour, someone dies from the disease.
