From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your contribution in the name of my sister Jess Tyrol, who's now an angel.  Your donation helps fund research to find treatments for this terrible form of cancer.  When Jess had this disease, I learned that there is NO real treatment for melanoma - traditional chemo and radiation are not given typically, because they do not work for melanoma.  For many, the only hope of treatment is in the form of experimental drugs, which unfortunately can come with a lot of red-tape regarding eligibility to receive these drugs.  In Jess's case, and many others, the drugs did not work against this quickly spreading cancer.
