Will turned 3 on August 12 and he is an amazing little guy. He started preschool in September at Noah's Ark Preschool where his siblings have attended. He is into everything these days, sleeps in a bed, is potty training, and starting to talk. It's so fun to watch him grow and develop. He works hard to keep up with his brothers and sister and it's really awesome to see that interaction.
Will is at the Down Syndrome Connection regularly for speech therapy and play groups. We use The Connection for resources, questions, and connecting with other families like ours with a family member with Down syndrome. Ella has expressed interest in meeting other kids who have a sibiling with Down syndrome, so we'll get her involved with the sibling support group soon. These are just some ways that The Connection helps us and there are countless ways they touch other families, too.
Last year we had the largest team at the Buddy Walk and we hope to have an even bigger team this year. Our family is so blessed by the love and support of our incredible family and friends. We could never raise our big and busy family without you! Joe and I know that we are blessed and we thank each of you for your constant prayers, help with carpooling, babysitting, invitations for play dates, meals, and more.
If you are available on October 7, please come walk a mile with us. We hope it will be as rewarding for you as it is for us.
This is our fundraising page and you can donate to DSCBA on this site. If you want to sign up to walk with Team Drucker, go to www.firstgiving.com/DSCBA to register to walk and click on "Start Fundraising". Select Step Up for Down Syndrome and then click on "Register". Be sure to select "Team Drucker" as the team you are supporting. The site will ask you to create your own fundraising page, which is not necessary. Thank you!
