I love to be involved with the special olympic kids here in town.  I know my sister doesn't always like me being around because she use to think I'd come only to steal her friends. As she gets older she has realized that the only reason why I do come to her activities is because I want to be there watching her improve her every day skills. Special Olympics has given Sharrie the chance to play sports like other kids who are different than her in many ways. She is also able to make friends and I know my parents and I love to see her laughing, talking, and having a great time hanging out with the friends she makes.

I really would like to thank you for donating some money to me for the Polar Plunge, but more importantly the Vermillion Special Olympics. Last year for the Polar Plunge Special Olympics I raised the most money thanks to a lot of help from the community and the competition my dad and I had. As a result of raising the most money which was exactly $768 I won a 19 inch flat screen tv. Now this year my dad and I aren't having a competition but you know how it is when you are participating in the same activity as a family member (you want to win, right?! Well I know I do.) So please help me and the Special Olympics out by donating some money for the Polar Plunge right here on my website.
