I am very excited to tell you that I have joined the "Mass General Marathon Team Fighting Kids' Cancer ... One Step at a Time" running in the Boston Marathon to raise money to support pediatric cancer research at the MGH. After having such a rewarding experience last year, I want to take on the Boston Marathon again on April 19, 2010!
I have been training very hard preparing for the race but I can't succeed alone. I need your help to reach my fundraising goal of $2500. I am counting on the support of my family, friends, and coworkers to not only finish the race, but also to help fight kids' cancer.
The funds raised by the Mass General Marathon Team support research into the causes of childhood cancer and help to initiate effective new treatments for young patients. Many of the runners have been teamed with an MGH Pediatric Partner who is currently undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital. We need to help give these kids a fighting chance to beat this disease.
I hope I can count on you to support my marathon run by contributing to this very special program. If you would prefer to make an on-line donation, you can support this important cause by donating on this site. If you prefer to donate through check, checks should be made payable to the Massachusetts General Hospital and mailed to my attention at:
Keith Bergh; 2833 Lyndale Avenue S; Apt. #229; Minneapolis MN 55408
Thank you very much for your support. Together we can make a difference in the lives of these children and one day find a cure for childhood cancer!
Best,
Keith
