Drumming for Hope
Drumming for Hope
March 14, 2010 3-7 PM
Goodman Community Center
This year African Youth Outreach would like to provide a fun and educational program free for the public. We can do this with your help. Drumming for Hope will include an interactive drumming circle with Djam Vivie, three bands, African face painting, Fair Trade goods for sale, AIDS education and testing, and a live Black-Footed African Penguin.
WADOMA plays West African Drum and Dance, The Figureheads are family friendly hip-hop and Novissi plays wonderful African music. Help us to make this program free for everyone who wants to attend.
Donate a little or a lot. Last year tickets were 8 dollars each. This year we want it to be free but we have to pay for the bands and the beautiful space.

It takes a little from a lot of people to make a big difference! With your help we can make this wonderful event free to the public. It is important that people are not denied access to cultural or health education based on their income.
We are looking for small and large sponsors, volunteers for the event, and help in promotion.
AYO, a Madison-based nonprofit organization, helps AIDS orphans in South Africa by providing much-needed medical supplies and education. We also offer educational programs which focus on life skills and HIV prevention and awareness for organizations, schools, and individuals in Wisconsin. Please contact us to learn more about available educational programming or volunteer opportunities.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
