International Child Care Usa Inc

Race for Grace 2010 Wichita Falls,  Texas

Keith and Chris Mumma's Fundraising Page

On August 28th, we will be riding again in the Hotter ‘N Hell 100 endurance ride in Wichita Falls, TX as member of the Race for Grace team, supporting Grace Children’s. We appreciate the contributions everyone made last year. This year is even more important. As you know, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti on January 12, 2010. While the programs of International Child Care and Grace Children’s Hospital go on, most of the buildings of the hospital were destroyed. We are in the process of rebuilding with your help.

We plan to ride the 25 mile leg of the race. We are asking for sponsors to make donations for every mile we ride. Even just fifty cents a mile will make a difference in the life of a child.

All donations are secure and sent directly to International Child Care (USA) Inc. by Firstgiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.

Please send our page on to anyone who might like to donate!

Grace Children’s Hospital, founded in 1967, is the flagship ministry of International Child Care.  Recognized as Haiti’s leading medical facility dedicated to the treatment of children with tuberculosis, Grace receives thousands of children annually who are suffering from TB and other diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDs and malnutrition.

In addition to the inpatient ward, Grace Children’s Hospital also offers numerous outpatient services including pediatric and adult TB treatment, a state-of-the-art eye clinic, a reproductive health clinic and HIV/AIDS treatment services.

International Child Care also works in the Dominican Republic, offering treatment for children with disabilities. The Community-Based Rehabilitation program teaches mothers and other caregivers occupational and physical therapy exercises for disabled children.  Some other programs include assistance for teachers who have special needs children in their classrooms and training for community members who work to improve hygiene and nutrition in their neighborhoods.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

Thanks for your support!

Sincerely,
