Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for TEAM LENNY for the MCHA Walk for the Animals!

The Monroe County Humane Association supports the Bloomington Animal Shelter and does a lot of good for animals in our community.  They also offer the classes that Lenny and I have been taking this year to train to be a "Pet Partners" therapy dog team.  Their therapy dog group is called VIPaws, and they visit nursing homes, schools, and many other places where animal-assisted therapy can be beneficial.

This cause is very important to me, and Lenny himself was adopted when he was 5 years old.  Like most people, we don't have a lot of money to donate, but I try to help the shelter by making dog toys, bringing in treats, helping with adoption events and transporting animals to rescue groups and foster homes.  Participating in this year's Walk for the Animals is another way we are trying to help.

On October 3rd, we will be at Karst Farm Park with our team to support the animals.  Could you join us there or support Team Lenny, perhaps with $5 or $10?
