Mallory was diagosed with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) in Sept. 2010. Unfortunately, she lost her life to the disease just a few months later on January 3, 2011. Since then, our family and her friends have been involved in raising awareness about PH and the importance of early detection. "Miles for Mallory" is a special event to benefit the Pulmonary Hypertenstin Associaton (PHA), an organization that supports patients, conducts research, and implores the medical community to pay attention to the symptoms of this rare disease so that others do not go under diagnosed.
