What is precious and most important to me is my family, immediate and extended. Supporting this cause will enable a cure to be within reach that may impact the so many lives. Whether it be my family or yours, friends or strangers our collective investment now, may influence the future of so many various people.
Alzheimer's is the "Epidemic of our Century" and the statistics are scary: one in eight Americans age 65 has Alzheimer's and 50% of all Americans between the ages of 80 - 85 have or will get Alzheimer's. By supporting the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. (www.alzCURE.org), a unique, history-making, public, 501(c)(3) organization whose entire focus is to dramatically accelerate the cure for this devastating disease, I feel as though I am doing something to protect the ones I love from this disease, from my parents, all the way to my baby as well as my husband and myself. By turning our back to this disease, we won't make it go away, but taking action will. A cure for Alzheimer's will not only cure virtually all forms of dementia, but will also open the door wide towards a cure for so many other neurodegenerative diseases and neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's, Autism, stroke-related brain disorders and so much more.
The Alzheimer's CURE Foundation is headquartered in Rhode Island and making history world-wide by introducing a groundbreaking conept that has never before been applied to medicine. They are the catalyst that will spur medical research to exciting new heights, at a dramatically accelerated speed.
