After such an amazing experience last year, I have decided to run my second Boston marathon. On April 20th, 2009 I will be running in the Boston Marathon along side with my brother.  I have the fortunate opportunity to run again for the 2009 MGH Children's Cancer Research Team.

 

The commitment my brother and I have made to the Children's Cancer Research Center is truly what makes this experience worthwhile. The funds raised by the MassGeneral Marathon Team support research into the causes of childhood cancer and help to initiate effective new treatments for young patients.

 

As part of this effort my brother and I will join together to run in honor of Nicholas DeFelice. Nicholas is 6 years old and suffering with Neuroblastoma. We were so excited to have recently met Nick and get to know him better. What an amazing inspiration Nick has been for us!
