Hi!  My name is Kara, and I'm a baby!  I was just born on October 14, but I already know and love animals.  I have two miniature wiener dogs and two cats who watch over me and play with me.  My Mommy and Daddy have told me that not every animal has a good home, though, and I want to help!

On Saturday, October 31, me, my Mommy, my Daddy, and some of my uncas and aunties will participate in the 3rd Annual PAWS Mutt Strut, which will bring animal lovers and their pets together for a 1.5-mile scenic walk through FDR Park.  Join us as we raise money to save Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals.

The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a no-kill rescue organization dedicated to saving the most vulnerable animals in the City's animal control shelter. It is Philadelphia's largest rescue partner and is working to make the city a place in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

Don't be lazy - if a baby can do it, so can you!
