In January of 2005, my oldest sister's best friend of 14 years passed away after battling ovarian cancer for about 3 years. Not only was she my sister's best friend, she was like a sister to me, she was apart of our family. She had a huge impact on my life, and is now one of my guardian angels.

Kim Kiernan was 28 years old when her battle ended. My sister Allison has named her daughter "Kimberleigh" in honor of her.

Connection played a huge role in Kim's life during her illness. Our family and "Kim's Krew" has been supporting this organization annually since she found them.

Kim was a such an amazing women who touched not only my life but everyone she knew. She will always be a member of our family. and will never be forgotten.
