Dear Friends and Family,
Many of you know that my friends Paul and Nina Brunskow lost their nine year old daughter Eden six months ago after a courageous three year battle with Neuroblastoma. To read about this inspirational, disarming and funny little girl, go to her site:

To learn more about Neuroblastoma, go to www.magicwater.org
This cruel disease combined with the lack of funding to fight it is a formidable combination. When Paul brought up the idea of a halloween (Eden's favorite holiday) fundraiser to help other kids fight Neuroblastoma in which he and other participants would dye their hair Eden's favorite color, orange, I jumped on it.
I have chosen three potential hairstyles, one of which I'll be sporting at the HallowEden Fundraiser on Sunday, October 26 at Studio 17 Salon! When you donate, simply cast your vote in the comment line and the style with the most money pledged to it wins!
Style # 1. BIG Orphan Annie- I can't think of anything more ill-advised than a 5'9' plus-sized Annie sporting a behemoth helmet of stiff orange curls. God help me.
Style # 2.Annie Lennox/David Bowie/Susan 'Stop the Insanity!' Powter-you get the picture, androgynous, short and and spiky. Dude looks like a lady. 'Nuff said.
Style # 3. Witchie Poo meets Kelly Vanilli-Arguably the most technically challenging, this look will combine my new orange hair at it's current length with creepy long black braided extensions throughout. Still, could there be anything more pathetic than a 41 year old woman going goth?
You'll be able to see my new 'do in an updated photo at left, or better yet, in living color on the streets of Tustin! All the proceeds go to the Magic Water Project (under the umbrella of the San Diego Community Foundation), which is funding trials and studies and getting more effective drug combinations approved now for these kids. All donations are tax decuctible (tax ID # 95-2942582).
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Thanks so much for your support! Bring it on so we can help kids and celebrate HallowEden!
