The Walk for the Animals & Walktoberfest returns to FirstEnergy Stadium on September 24th, 2011. Join over 4000 other walkers as we raise funds to support the animals and programs of the Humane Society of Berks County!
Three ways you can help:
Register for the Walk - by visiting berkshumane.org and signing up for the Walk, you can help us raise much needed funds to care for homeless, sick and injured animals in Berks County and beyond!
Form a Pack - Walk with friends, family and coworkers in a Pack to raise even more funds. Pack Walkers get fancy custom t-shirts as well as their own private seating! Contact Jennifer Long, HSBC Community Outreach Director, at 610-921-2348 extension 13 or jlong@berkshumane.org to get started today!
Start a fundraising page on FirstGiving to collect pledges - Your friends and family can pledge to support you as you Walk for homeless and neglected animals. Follow the simple instructions on these pages to get your page going.
Last year, our Walkers used these strategies to raise over $110,000 for the animals at the Humane Society. We hope you'll join us this year in raising even more funds! See you at the Walk!
