Our brave Airmen, Marines, Soldier's & Sailors all have my gratitude and praise!
Yet, Pararescuemen hold a special place in my heart!
Truly, without PJ's, thousands of service members and civilians would have been unnecessarily lost in past conflicts and natural disasters.
Saving lives for ALL branches of the military & civilian rescues, especially in areas where civilian rescuers find inaccessible, or too dangerous, is what being a PARARESCUEMAN, is all about !
There are approximately 300 active Pararescuemen in the world today. Since 1996 over 12 have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
During our trip to NM, I had the privilege of meeting the marketing coordinator for the, “That Others May Live” foundation.
This foundation provides support and funding to the needs of the children of our fallen heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
