Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
My uncle was an amazing man. A little over a year ago he was the #1 fundraiser for a St. Baldricks event and he shaved off his amazing head of hair in solidarity with a friend that had recently been diagnoised with cancer. Not long after the event, a cyst that he had removed from his head was identified to be Melanoma. He fought hard for a year and then took a turn for the worse. When he found out that he was losing the battle to this terrible disease he started planning the future for his two amazing daughters and planning a kicking farewell tailgate party.
He passed on July 8, 2012 and I pledged to make it a lifelong duty to raise money for this disease.
His last message to those he loved was truly inspiring:
Always add to your life! Add friends, hobbies, trips, concerts, games – ANYTHNG, but never lose them. Fill your life with new people and things everyday – your cup can never be too full! So please celebrate my life and keep on dancing – music is my savior, see you on the dance floor.
