This organization is one that is close to my and my husband's hearts not only in their mission but also because we have adopted two of our pets from the society.  Moose, our cat, and Guinness our Beagle/Boxer mix have been wonderful additions to our family which we owe that to the ARLNH - North!

During our weekends, we frequently take the time to visit with the animals to give them the opportunity for socialization. We enjoy taking dogs for walks around the building or going into the cat room to tempt our fate with frisky kittens. No matter how we are interacting with the animals, the facilities and animals are always kept clean, staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, and animals are being adopted on a regular basis. Seeing these consistencies within the society are the main factors that encourage us to continue to support their efforts.

The Conway Area Humane Society frequently takes in animals from kill shelters in order to try to save more lives.  They are committed to the human/animal bond by:
“Encouraging it through education and animal adoption, protecting it when threatened by violence, disaster, or medical emergency, and respecting it when broken by death.”
