I will be traveling to South Africa this summer to volunteer in a medical clinic. I will be caring for those suffering from HIV and AIDS. Learning and experiencing new cultures has always been a passion of mine. This experience in South Africa will help me combine this passion with my passion for helping others in a medical setting. As a pre-med senior at San Diego State University, I cannot fund my trip on my own seeing as I am paying for ever increasing tuition and other expenses. I need the help of everyone.
