Dear Friends and Family,

Leslie and I are once again participating in the Chatham Hunger Walk on Sunday, November 1st.  As soon as the month of November arrives, I immediately begin thinking about Thanksgiving which means turkey, dressing, and of course, pecan pie.  The Hunger Walk reminds us just how much we have to be thankful for.  There are families that desperately rely on the service of our food pantry.  The CORA Food Pantry is serving approximately 325 families per month, and we have experienced almost a 40% increase in food demand from 2008 to 2009.  

How can you help? 

1.  Donote money on this secure website.  It's fast, easy, secure, and completely tax deductible.  We almost reached our goal last year, and with your help, we can raise $1000 this year. 

2.  Make your own webpage, raise money, and come walk with us.  Feel free to join our Chatham Church team. 

3.  See what needs the food pantry in your area has.  You would be surprised how many hands are needed to feed the hungry.  It will be an eye opening experience.
