My name is Kennedy Taylor Breath, I am 12 years old and I have Down Syndrome. I am entering the 7th grade and I enjoy singing in the choir at my church. I look forward to the new challenges this school year will bring. Now that I have introduced myself let me explain the purpose of this letter.

My family, friends and I will be walking in the Buddy Walk on September 25th. The Buddy Walk is the Down Syndrome Association of Oklahoma's biggest fundraiser. The purpose of the Buddy Walk is to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome and to raise funds for local and national education, research and advocacy programs. These funds enable DSACO to offer services that support and enhance the quality of life for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
