Kent Woodall passed on March 10, 2012, after a long, hard-fought, brave battle with cancer. Throughout his many operations and several rounds of chemotherapy, his greatest joys were the rescued bassets at his side. Marcellus, Woodrow, Penny and Binky gave him countless hours of calming comfort, therapy support and faithful council. In the end, Kent chose hospice in his home to be with family, friends and his beloved pets. Through the years, it was always important to Kent to help the Humane Society in any way he could. As a last request, Kent asked that people not send flowers; but, instead make a donation to the Humane Society.
