Meet Biscuit...

Biscuit appeared on the Pet Harbor shelter search pages as I was doing the daily shelter checks last Tuesday.  I immediately called the Riverside shelter and was told that she needed to get out of there ASAP.  The adoption coordinator at the shelter emailed me her vet report, which indicated that her skin condition was most likely due to intentional skin trauma or burns. 

On Saturday morning, my daughter Jade and I picked up Biscuit and we took her up to Daphneyland.  Here is what Dawn had to say about Biscuit's arrival at the Ranch:

"Kerri and Jade (her daughter) arrived with windows open - A/C on high.
Biscuit was in the back, -2- potty accidents and she refused to lay down the whole drive... it was about a 2 hour transport

Into the tub immediately, she went thru:
Antimicrobial bath (hair is falling out in huge clumps - abuse thru burns as well as infection)
Skin conditioner
Vitamin C treatment
Pure Aloe
Homepathics beyond belief.....

Kerri and Jade helped triage her in and she has such attitude she's telling me off the whole time.
Refused pig ears thank you very much, but wanted ham slices.  :)  "
