Dear Friends,

What an exciting start for The Friends of The Lord's Place (TLP).  It has been less than a year since we began our group.  We have have grown to a very dedicated group of people who are passionate about breaking the cycle of homelessness in Palm Beach County.

We have worked on two areas in the past year; raising awareness and funds for TLP.  Our latest project has been organizing a team to run in the December 3rd, Marathon of The Palm Beaches. 

I am very honored to share this responsibility with my Co-Chairman, Brent Ion, and our Friends Committee.   Brent had a wonderful vision of bringing the concept of the completion of a marathon as a milestone for both the Friends and the Clients we serve. 

It will be life changing for all of those who participate in anyway they are able.  There will be a time during race day when someone who never thought they could accomplish such a feat will do just that.  I invite you to share that moment with us and our clients.
