After being personally affected by this disease through the loss of my mother in 2003, I have seen first hand what a terrible disease brain tumors are and I want to do my part in helping to find a cure so some day hopefully other people won't have to endure what my mother, family, and countless other families have had to go through. With my passion for running, I couldn't think of a better way to help this cause than by qualifying for the 2007 Boston Marathon which I did last October and with your support, raising as much money as possible for the National Brain Tumor Foundation. I don't know what to expect for donations with this being the first time I have ever done something like this, but I've set a target of $5,000 which I can hopefully achieve and maybe even surpass with your generous contributions. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
