Dear Friends,

Most of you know how involved I have been in animal rescue over the past several years. 

I am pleased to be working with the RAMAPO-BERGEN ANIMAL REFUGE (RBARI) in Oakland, NJ.  RBARI is one of the largest and best run no-kill facilities in the Northeast.  Please visit our website at www.rbari.org.

We will be holding our annual Mutts Marathon fund raising event on Saturday, October 11, and I am hoping that you can support me and my cause by sponsoring me in the dog walk. 

This year, I will be walking a very special dog named Irving who has been at the shelter for almost a year.  Irving was found as a stray in very bad shape.  He was emaciated, sick, and fearful of people.  Through the love and care given to him at RBARI, he has blossomed into the healthy and wonderful dog that you see in the picture.  There is one more thing that you need to know about Irving - he is blind.  Irving is a perfect example of the good things that RBARI can do for unfortunate animals like him, and this is why I chose to highlight him for this event.

Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.  With rising costs of energy and animal care, every little bit helps.  Please know that RBARI is a non-profit organization, and your donations are tax deductible and will go to helping homeless animals in need.
