Welcome to my fundraising page for Special Olympics, Nebraska!  Many of you know I began participating in the Polar Plunge a couple of years ago with several of my coworkers.  Many of you are also aware how near and dear to my heart this special and important cause is.  My family spent many years working with mentally handicapped adults, which was an incredible experience.  This will be my third year supporting Special Olympics by taking the icy dip into Holmes Lake.

Hey folks, I know things are financially tight right now.  I also know $1000 is a lofty goal to achieve.  That said, Special Olympics provides an avenue for those with special needs to participate in a friendly, organized, competitive atmosphere which they otherwise might not get.  Please consider dontating as I take the "plunge!"  Anything, small or large, is appreciated all the same, and don't forget to mark your calendars for Saturday, Februrary 21st, at 11:00 a.m.  C'mon out to Holmes Lake and watch our team take the plunge!!
