Since 2004, I have run the Hartford Marathon in honor of my Godson and nephew Patrick, who was born with Down Syndrome. Now 10 years old, he remains my "little hero" because of the hurdles he overcomes every day. Nothing compares with the joy on Patrick's face as he runs the last 30 yards with me across the finish line!

Because of generous people like you, we have raised over $10,000.00 during the past 2 years, which is donated to the CT Down Syndrome Congress, whose vision is to improve the lives of persons with Down Syndrome. Believe me when I tell you, it was worth every step!

Once again I will be running the Hartford Marathon on October 14, 2006. This year we want to do more. We want to raise more, for the benefit of the entire Down Syndrome community, children and adults, like Patrick. My goal this year is to raise $10,000.00...and I know we can do it! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
