Once again team Glackin-Coley will be "fighting hunger from the seats of our bikes" as we take to the roads of the Puyallup Valley and surrounding area on June 4th to raise money for the St. Leo Food Connection's emergewncy food programs.  This year Maeve will be riding her own bike instead of an attachment - in fact, we created a 10 mile ride this year just for her!  Corey will probably be riding 56 miles; either Tara or I will ride with Maeve and the other will ride 32 or 56 miles.  Shay won;t be riding with us since he will be defending his title in 1,600 meters at Tacoma's middle school city track meet.

All the funds we raise will go to support the Food Connection's efforts to fight hunger in Pierce County, including the St. Leo Food Bank, Springbrook Mobile Food Bank, Summer Meals sites, Backpack Program providing food for kids to take home on weekends throughout the school year and the Pierce County Gleaning Project.  You can find more information on the Food Connection at www.foodconnection.org.
