All living creatures have inherent value and are deserving of an acceptable life. Euthanasia should not be used as a means of population control.
These are beliefs close to our hearts, and beliefs that we share with the Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT).
In 2007, a heartbreaking 25,000 homeless, lost, and abused animals were euthanized in Hillsborough County because there were just not enough homes for all of them.
With your support, we will be walking to benefit ACT, Saturday, October 11, 2008 for the 8th Annual Stride For Strays. Your contribution will help ACT continue to provide low cost, high quality spay / neuter options in our community. The goal of ACT is to reduce the number of companion animals entering Hillsborough County shelters and to eliminate senseless euthanization.
If you would like to join us in supporting this outstanding event, please visit Kevin and Kelly's personal sponsorship website to make a contribution here at www.firstgiving.com/kevinhausler
Or, if you prefer not to make a contribution online, please print out this donation form and return it to me by October 8:
Checks should be made payable to ACT or the Animal Coalition of Tampa which is a private, non-profit organization. Also, your donation is tax deductible.
The Animal Coalition’s goal this year is to raise over $70,000 which will help them provide vaccinations and sterilization services for the low income community and the animals entrusted in their care. ACT also educates the community about respect and kindness to animals and the health benefits of spaying and neutering. Based on ACT’s amazing growth of recent years I am sure that they will reach, if not exceed, this impressive goal.
Thank you for considering this request for your support. If you have any questions about the Stride for Strays, or the work of the Animal Coalition of Tampa call ACT at 813-250-3900 or visit their website at
