Kevin Melo's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! It is with great excitement that I announce this is the first year in the history of the Falmouth Road Race that the Sturge-Weber Foundation (SWF) has been named as one of the official non-profits in the Numbers For Non-Profits program. The SWF has been provided with five numbers, exempt from the lottery, with each runner committing to raising atleast $750 (and hopefully more).
In March of 2008 my grandson, Jameson was diagnosed with Sturge-Weber Syndrome after suffering a horrible fall. His diagnosis was a complete shock to our family and turned our world upside down, but from the very beginning the staff at the Sturge-Weber Foundation has been there for us every step of the way. My son, Octavio & daughter-in-law, Jessica made a promise to Jameson that they would do everything in their power to raise as much awareness and funds as they possibly could so that one day a cure could be found. I hope you will help them in their quest to follow through with this promise by making a donation!
I would like to acknowledge the following donations that were made offline:
Amigos da Terca ($500); Cape Cod Enterprises DBA Dunkin' Donuts ($750) Cadete Enterprises ($1,000), Boro Painting ($50), Newport 223 Donuts Inc. ($250)
