You might be wondering why I would be jumping into a Freezing Cold pool (no it's not heated...) in the middle of winter?  Well, when it's for a great cause such as the  Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge it makes it so much easier.  After helping at the Summer Games in 2007 I become hooked (as I was told would happen but didn't believe) and haven't looked back since.  I attended the International Torch Run Conference in the fall of 2007 which really helped open my eyes even more to how much the fundraising helps the athletes and their families.  To see the enthusiasm and happiness on their faces is priceless and I'm glad to be a part of it all.  My only regret is that I didn't become involved even sooner. 

I realize that economic times are hard right now, but I appreciate each and every donation big and small.  If you don't feel that you can donate now I completely understand, but I would ask that you forward it as many people as possible.  Remember: Your Donation is TAX Deductible.  :)
