You might be wondering why I would be jumping into a Freezing Cold lake in the middle of winter?  Well, when it's for a great cause such a Special Olympics it makes it so much easier.  After helping at the Summer Games last year I become hooked (as I was told would happen but didn't believe) and haven't looked back since.  I attended the International Torch Run Conference in the fall which really helped open my eyes more to how much the fundraising helps the athletes and their families.  To see the enthusiasm and happiness on their faces is priceless and I'm glad to be a part of it all.  My only regret is that I didn't become involved even sooner.
