Kevin Slusser's Fundraising Page
On Thursday October 1st I will begin a 3 day, 165 mile bicycle ride to raise money for Alpha 1. Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency is a condition that is passed on from parents to their children through genes. This conditon may result in serious lung and/or liver disease at various ages in life. Alpha-1 (ZZ) is the most common known genetic risk factor for emphysema. My father-in-law, Gordon Cadwgan was diagnosed with this disease in 1992, and due to modern medicine and equipment has been able to remain active all these years. Gordon is a very caring, generous person, who is a wonderful grandfather to my kids. I am proud to be able to ride in his honor!!
Please help me reach my goal, every penny counts so no donation is too small. . It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thanks so much,
Kevin
