Grand Rapids, Michigan

Kevin VanderWoude's Page

This is my second year participating in the Polar Plunge and as you can see from my profile picture my wife dressed me up as a ballerina last year!  This year, however, I am part of a great team of Super Heroes and I am---wait for it, wait for it---THOR!  I am very excited to be supporting the Special Olympics and participating in this great event again in 2012.

Thank you for visiting my 2012 Polar Plunge fundraising page.

The Polar Plunge is made possible by the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, a group of police officers and corrections personnel committed to raising funds and awareness for SOMI. Proceeds from the Polar Plunge support the year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 20,679 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who live in Michigan.

I have committed to support the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan by taking the plunge in 2012. Polar Plunges are a fun and unique way to support Special Olympics Michigan.

Once again thank you for visiting my page and considering making a donation. With your support we can truly make a difference.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
