Dear Friends and Family,

The annual Memories Walk fundraiser for The Children's Room is coming up on Sunday, October 2nd.  As many of our friends and family as past supporters know, The Children's Room is a charitable organization in our hometown of Arlington that provides caring support to grieving children, teens and their families who have had a parent or child die.  I started volunteering with families seven years ago, and joined the staff last fall.

We are able to help the whole family.  While parents meet with other parents, the kids have a chance to be with their peers in separate support groups.  Through talking, artwork, play and healing rituals, the children can be together and experience support and acceptance.  We help families move forward with their lives.

We currently have a waiting list of families interested and ready to join our program.  Please help us tell these families that we have an open space waiting for them!   A donation, in any amount is critical to the success of The Children's Room.  Please help us further our goal to ensure than no child grieves alone.
