Dear Friends and Family,

It is time once again for The Children's Room annual Memories Walk fundraiser.  As many of you know, The Children's Room is a charitable organization in our hometown of Arlington that provides caring support to grieving children, teens and their families who have had a parent or child die.  We are able to help the whole family.  While the parents meet with other parents, the kids have a chance to be with their peers in separate support groups.  Through talking, artwork, play and healing rituals, the children can be together, share their feelings and experience support and acceptance.  

For the past five years, I have been a volunteer in one of the child support groups.  This month I have taken on a new challenge by joining the staff as the Development Coordinator.  We currently have a waiting list of families interested and ready to join our program.  Please help us tell these families that we have an open space waiting for them!   A donation, in any amount, would help us maintain our programs and further our goal to ensure than no child grieves alone.
