LET'S MAKE DOBIE PROUD!!!!!!!!

Hi there folks, it's me, Fleetwood.  It's time for the Guardian Angel Basset Rescue's Illinois Waddle!  It's on September 21st and it's time to do what we bassets do best....beg!  This year I will be waddling by myself as my waddle buddy Dobie was taken from us last year on December 7th.  He was diagnosed with cancer before the Waddle last year and he just couldn't beat it. 

Last year at the Waddle, even though Dobie didn't feel so good, he took 3rd place in the face licking contest.  With the help of peanut butter and the love he had for his daddy, he licked Mat's face as fast as he could.  He was a trooper and a very dear part of our family.  He was one of those fosters that never left and he is deeply missed so lets make Dobie proud.  I will do what I can to win the face licking contest this year in honor of Dobie so please do your part and lets raise more money than we did last year!

As I'm sure you know by now, there is so much more involved in animal rescue than just picking up unwanted animals.  It involves long hours of care by our wonderful foster homes and a large financial commitment.  That's where you come in.  GABR would not be able to help the hundreds of bassets we do each year without your help so please consider a donation to Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. You can donate a specific amount per block (10 blocks) or one set amount for the entire Waddle.  No amount is too small or too big so please give what you can.
