It's that time of year again! Guardian Angel Basset Rescue will be hosting it's biggest fund raising event of the year. The 8th Annual Illinois Waddle is on September 18th in Dwight, Illinois and Fleetwood, Dobie, Mat and I will be doing our part by "waddling" to raise money for the bassets.

When bassets are rescued by GABR, they are brought up to date on all shots, spayed or neutered, and treated for any medical condition they may have. This takes approximately $150 in excess of the adoption fee per basset.
Dobie (the cutie on the right) is a GABR alumnus who had heartworm and no home. No one to feed him or give him the love he deserves. He wouldn't be here today without the help of GABR, many volunteers and the funds to battle his heartworms and make him a healthy, happy boy today. GABR is celebrating it's 10th year and has rescued over 2,300 bassets to date. GABR can't do this without your help so please open up your hearts (and wallets) to help the bassets.
