Matthew is already 2 1/2 yr. old! He is a busy boy and is into everything! He is crawling, walking w/help, and starting to climb (oh boy!). He is also developing his own personality with likes/dislikes (LOVES the outdoors/HATES green beans). He is definitely aware that he is 2 yr old - if he's not happy about something, he lets us know. He likes to build towers with his blocks, play with puzzles, and drive little trucks and cars around. He is making progress in all areas of development and we look forward to each new milestone he achieves!

Children of the Heart has assisted our family in paying for Music Therapy for Matthew, which has helped him develop his verbal skills, as well as, his fine motor abilities. They are also sponsoring a monthly group music therapy class for young children with Down syndrome. As our group has grown, we are coming up with new ideas to spread the word that our kids are more alike than different! Thanks for your help!
