I'm Fred, and I want to help the homeless hounds!
Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page!
My name is Fred, and I'm a very senior Basset Hound. I was rescued in 1998, when my elderly owner died and his children wanted me put to sleep. I'm tired a lot these days, and it's getting harder to move around much. I don't know how many more Woofstocks I'll be able to attend. But I'm still going to Waddle at Woofstock in 2006 to raise money for the hounds who aren't as lucky as I am.
Won't you help my mom raise money for other homeless Bassets? We think all Bassets deserve lots of love. The nice people at NEBHR work hard to place Bassets in these homes. Just a few dollars will help them to save hundreds of hounds just like me.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. And all donations go directly to the care and rescue of homeless hounds all over New England. I'm lucky - I have a good life, and lots of love, and food, and warm fires and sunshine to enjoy. Not all hounds are lucky. Many are abandoned in shelters and scared, or are hungry, or are abused...I'm trying to raise some money to help them have a good life, like me!
I promise, if you support me, I'll make you proud on May 20, 2006 at Woofstock!
Thank you for caring about the less fortunate hounds!
hugs, Fred
