Kim Haines's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. This year I am dedicating my Woofstock fundraising in honor of Fred, the gentle senior Basset Hound who made our lives better for almost 12 years. Fred went to the Rainbow Bridge in June of 2009 after many struggles with illness and old age problems. Right to the end Fred was loving, happy and as kind as ever.
Rescued in 1998, Fred was loved by many people. He was the epitome of Bassetdom - slow, steady, gentle and loving. Fred participated in many Waddles and made dozens of friends - hound and human - through the years.
In Fred's honor, I'm raising money for New England Basset Hound Rescue. NEBHR has rescued and found new loving homes for nearly 1000 Basset Hounds and mixes since 2001.
Just a few dollars from you will help them to save hundreds of hounds just like Fred.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. And all donations go directly to the care and rescue of homeless Basset Hounds. Many are abandoned in shelters and scared, or are hungry, or are abused...and now we're trying to raise some money to help them find a better life!
Please help to honor Fred's memory. Your donation will help hundreds of Basset Hounds who really need the help, and it's what Fred would want.
Thank you for caring about the less fortunate hounds!
