Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I'm Fred, a gentle senior Basset Hound who was rescued 10 years ago after my elderly owner died and nobody wanted me.

I'm raising money for New England Basset Hound Rescue. NEBHR rescued and found new loving homes for over 800 Basset Hounds and mixes since 2001.

Last year was really hard for NEBHR. We had our Woofstock fundraiser postponed at the last minute, and we had higher than ever number of dogs in need that we helped rescue from shelters and bad situations all over the country, and it all really strained our resources.

NEBHR's expenses in 2007 were so high that they resulted in a $16,000 loss for the rescue! Vet bills and other expenses were higher than ever before. Without your help, NEBHR simply can't afford to keep rescuing Bassets in need.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. And all donations go directly to the care and rescue of homeless Basset Hounds. 

I'm lucky - I have a good life. Not all hounds are lucky. Many are abandoned in shelters and scared, or are hungry, or are abused...and now I'm trying to raise some money to help them find a better life!
