So, you made it to our page!  Congrats!

While completing this marathon is a personal goal, it also goes much deeper in our hearts than that.  It's all about this little guy to the left and others like him who have so much to gain by our lacing up our shoes and running a few miles.  And it's not just about clean water, either.  It's about showing the love of Christ to these, his children, in a very tangible way.

This whole training process has been an incredible blessing in the oddest of ways.  We've experienced anew the beauty of God's creation on our early morning runs, We've taken to heart scriptures about the renewal of strength (especially towards the end of those 3 hour training runs!) and we've been forced to think about our lives and the way we spend, save, and give.  Is the body of Christ a bucket for the pooling of resources or a pipe through which they flow?  May the Spirit of God continue to work in our hearts and minds as we seek to honor him with our stewardship.

So thanks for visiting and parterning with us on this adventure.  Through the working of God's Spirit, this has the power to transform lives!  Blessings!
